So here goes

I have been trying to play BF2. Thought well I got a little time why not hey??

Each time I thought I know I will load the BF2 patch. But what you know I spend the next 30 minutes with dead ends, registrations and no downloads.

In the end my time is up and I cant play. So I am going on line old style for my sins tonight.

My question is does anyone have a definitive download site for the patch with out registration that will work.

Maybe itrs a firewal thign I dont know but I have been through every UK\eu dedicated site.

Oh one last thing I dont have the tiem to wait two hours in a queue before I can click the download button.

Any help would be appreciated my old friends. Time is not on my side of late.

Your fatigued, exhausted comrade awaits a reply.:(

Yoosty would likely be your best bet on this one. He has that info. Also, be aware that when the v1.50 patch first came out some of the download sites had been the target of hackers using the frenzy to download the patch as a place to piggyback a Trojan. Make certain that you have your anti-virus updated and scan your computer, not just the downloaded patch file, with an in-depth scan.

Both Mobster and I got hit with it and it was particularly nasty. It kills part of your Anti-virus for real-time scanning during the download and then attacks Internet Explorer for the purpose of gathering private information. The Trojan was not actually in the file itself. Updated anti-virus programs should catch it now in a FULL scan.

Here goes again.

7 hour download for me, so guess no gaming tonight.

I know I have not been around much of late but I hope I can resume gaming now.
Will try to get on tomorrow assuming the patch goes well.

Apologies for my ignorant dissapearance.

Thank you had that already.

Dont know what the differences are. Accept the disc is not in my PC ,and I can play, so I guess its working okay.

Will definately try and get a game or two in tonight. Just building new pen for my boar before I collect him on Saturday
