You all should Download and Update your DirectX Runtime (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displayLang=en) even if you are running Vista.

Basically helps with the Shaders and Sound. Plus with newer games and Drivers'.

Might it help with assassins creed as it doesnt like my setup. (vista x64). :)
I could try but I am being a bit lazy :P
