Nooooooooo!

Simple problem.
New moniter. Runs at 2048 x 1152
Try to start BF2, black screen for 3 seconds (ish)
Back to desktop.

Tried the +szx and +szy command line thing. No luck.
Please help.


tried as 640 x 480 mode. It flashed the BF2 banner in a horrible resolution (so far, so good). Back to desktop.

Ok found the problem but not the solution.


How do you change the refresh rate outside of the game?????

Ok guys, if you get this problem just alter the resolution line in Video.con files. (only goes up to 1280 x 1024. *cries*)

1 will be in the default folder in My Documents\Battlefield 2\ profiles
the other will be your profile folder. It'll be one of the number ones. Or just change all the video.con files ;)

it appears he had a problem, fixed it half way, then fixed it all the way. glad we could be of service mars ;)
