Does it seem like the latest news is getting longer? I think it may be a good idea to limit the size of these so that the home page doesn't go on forever. If we want to add a module at the bottom, (ie instrucional video) it would take forever to get to it by scrolling.
IMO it seems fine like it is, it just seems like the individual posts are getting longer and I would like some opinions to confirm that it's not just me.

I guess it's easy enough to collapse the posts if an individual would like the center column a bit shorter.

No, it's not just you. The news link posts are getting more detailed and with a lot more pics. As a result I think it might be a good idea to put a link to the video on the left column that would simply scroll the reader to the video location. Since people like to see videos like this it could also stir some interest as well.

<thinking> We could create an entire page (it would not have to be big) and link to it from the homepage. We could possibly put the video and information into a module about the width of the news module and include all of the other modules like any other page.

hhmmm i agree that the homepage is getting a bit "long" and the sollution suggested by bert might be an good idea, if im thinking correctly about how its gonna work.
