I got this scam email, i can tell its a scam as im not with the abbey national, if you are given an email from a bank, ebay or amazon that asks you to reconfirm your account details likelyhood is your being scammed. Its known as "phishing"

I've gotten about a half dozen of these allegedly from various banks in the last couple of years, some I've never heard of and all with banks I don't have accounts with. The real banks ask that you contact them when you get these so the e-mail can be forwarded to them so they can track down the scam artists.

Im posting this to try and imform people of the problems with these emails. As they will have access to your account if you fill out the form, which means they steal all your hard earned cash. This includes Amazon and Ebay accounts, so the aim is to be as cautious as possible.
