Well do you really need all the mektek patches nowadays?
It depends what you want to do with the game and who you are playing. For friends etc I dont think you need much above the MS ones.
I never liked the most recent mektek patches anyway, in the end there were more mechs than weapons. They did help to keep a dying game alive but alot of their work was based on the usual assoles who took advantage of bugs etc.
Their final patches was almost a goodbye to the game where they gave you every god damn mech ever heard of and some I hadnt.........
So maybe those who ARE interested could post here and maybe we could get something going. I am willing to install the base pack and MS patches

from what i understand, the pr1 patch is the only one that you need, the 2 ms packs are optional but fun, and the 3 mektek patches, though if spar's opinion is anything to go by we may just want to avoid the mektek ones

I'm inclined to agree with Calv, I havent had the games in for awhile now. Matter of fact I gave my last copies (the ones I was using LOLOL) of MW4 Vengence/ Mercs/ Battle Packs n such away, probaly to someone on the team ROFLMAO. Its a GREAT game, I miss it but I'm just not into pactchin this or reloading that, just to goof off. When somebody gets around to building a Mech 5 I gaurntee you I'll be the first inline. It's also bout the folks too, so as long as I've still got you guys to hang with, I'm willing to wait. Sides we all know I dont stand a snowballs chance in hell of getting all the patches n what not loaded correctly....LOLOL that what I have you guys for ROFLMAO....

Well, I prolly won't be installing MW4 again. I'm just left a little nostalgic and depressed by its demise. I certainly will be first in line when it emerges from the depths of "abandon-ware," but for the time being, I'll just play BF2 and 2142, when I get a better graphics card and increase the RAM.

I sure miss me some Gooseneck, though...

i'm still around, i pop on comms when i log into the game, i just have the rotten luck of consistantly missing the time slots when people are on
