Last night at about 1pm my computer froze. So I shut down the power and started it up again. Now the computer is not reciving any input signals or output signals. Im currently on a older PC which is incapable of playing BF2. I think It's a montherboard issue, it has happened before.

Last night there were a number of disturbances and I'm wondering if something is related somehow. Mobster and I were on the Battlefield on the Christian Gamers Online server. (CGO)
Everything seemed fine, then suddenly we both simultaniously crashed to desktop. After reloading and trying to get back in we found CGO's server was hard down. Why would a server going down cause a crash to desktop for those who were on it at that time?
It doesn't make sense, unless it may have been some sort of attack on the server that affected those on it as well.

Now I found the games associated to Windows XP that would be found in the start menu do not exist. (ex. Solitaire, Spider Solitare,....)
Start/all programs/games/ect..., but the folder is empty. I tracked down and verified their proper location in the system32 folder and they still work, but any effort to reinstate them to the start menu in their proper place fails. I'm currently using Norton Ghost to put everything right.

Food for thought.
