Big Issue

My computer when it would usually say "Welcome" to windows XP i had a series of code passing down my screen, Deleting, then recovering. Apparently there was corrupt files. I then let this run. Restarted my PC and my PC would go to the XP loading screen then it would not go to the "Welcome" screen, so i had to run a recovery console. :confused: I would Appreciate any input for the reason why this happened.

Logic Bomb, malicious code after a particular function or event occurs, so when it started recovering the corrupt files etc, it would of unleashed its payload.
