Just tried the demo and it was ok. Being able to beat someone to death with a wrench was excellent...summat I always wanted to do on BF2
The demo is basically about the crash and an introduction to the underground city. By what I have seen the main game will need fast reactions and is quite complex with the strange variety of weapons.

BioShock Soaked in DRM Fiasco
BioShock DRM
It's been about a week since BioShock's launch, and the digital rights management controversy surrounding the game (http://www.peacemakercore.com/#) shows little signs of abating. BioShock had received considerable hype and overwhelming positive reviews (including my own) (http://www.twitchguru.com/2007/08/23/bioshock_review/), but the game has been mired in an uproar regarding the game's installation policy, which initially limited each customer to two installations only through SecuROM's copy protection software (http://www.peacemakercore.com/#).

I don't think the future of PC hinges on this game. :)
