This may have already been addressed but I gave up searching loads of forums for a specific answer. Maybe you guys can help.

This situation only applies to infantry only nights. I feel when vehicles are allowed the playing field is more level and I can compete more fairly ( better ).

So I am wondereing by being a higher level, I am only sergeant at the moment, do you get better stats. BY that I mean are you harder to hit, does it take more bullets to kill you, is your armour better. Is it dependant on your level. For example I ploughed 150 rounds into a guy with eagles by his name at point blank range and he then fires one shot and I die. He lived by the way.

Now I know people can hack the game, which does not interest me, unless I find out everyone is doing it.

I know the weapons get better as you unlock them ,which I still have not completed the first level of unlocks but is there a hidden armour rating that gets better too?

The reason I ask is that I am so crap when it comes to infantry only. I dont think it is all down to skill. If it is then infantry only nights suck for me. I just trying to figure out if the higher level you become the more difficult it is for levels below you to kill you. And easier for higher levels to kill you. If that is the case, cool, I just got to keep plugging away at the game.

This is quite important really I just trying to figure out if I suck at the game or what.

No you don't get any improvements with higher rank, other than the kits you can unlock . and you can take commander if you outrank another person on the server who also applies for it at the same time (big whoop dee doo....)


in relation to armor heres a tip 3 of the kits have body armour 3 do not

if you are doing infantry only and want more body armor
you want to select

Anti-tank
Assault
Support

these 3 kits have body armor so you can take a few more hits

however a headshot brings the same results at the same speed regardless of armor.

so once you have all the upgrades it really doenst metter about the rankings other than the commander and the prety new symbol beside your name

thats why the mods tend to have players that have been there done that.

There is a few unlcoks that are really cool. however the original guns are just as deadly

your not alone on io nights m8 i dont do too good either never have done, when i first started i used to get floored all the time now i can normally come out with same kills / death ratio so ive got better (and hope to get even better still in the future (although im not holding my breath).

I think it is all about finding what kit and weapon suits your style of game play I tend to go in as medic use the g36e its a good weapon plus you get to fix yourself if you get wounded.

Map knowledge and situation awareness come into it too like if you get killed at a spawn point change your spawn point just in case the sob is still there, its little things that will help you like knowing where people hide when capping flags, where snipers lurk etc etc

And your graphics card can make a hell of a difference when going into buildings etc

quite how some of these guys aim and kill so quickly is beyond me, but then im old and lefthanded which i think is a big disadvantage.

All i can say m8 is keep plugging youll get there and as for the guy you pumped full of lead well i would think he was cheating wouldnt you ??
